Dr. Ben Thomson las de korte maar krachtige verklaring van  North American Medical doctors<\/em>, tijdens de persconferentie van UOSSM<\/a>. Er waren weliswaar de journalisten aanwezig van alle persbureaus en enkele media, maar geen enkele westerse krant, radio- of televisiekanaal wilde of durfde het te vermelden, of er uit te citeren, omdat het de genocide onthult waar de Israelische leiders en hun terreurlegers zich schuldig aan maken<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We bereiken het punt waarop er geen weg meer terug is, waar de flagrante minachting voor het internationaal humanitair recht een litteken achterlaat in ons collectief bewustzijn.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tot op heden zijn er 283 gezondheidswerkers in Gaza gedood. De afgelopen twee maanden waren het dodelijkste conflict in de geschiedenis van de Verenigde Naties, waarbij 133 van hun medewerkers zijn gedood. Sinds 7 oktober zijn er 212 aanvallen geweest op gezondheidszorgfaciliteiten in Gaza. Dit is inclusief 24 verschillende ziekenhuizen die door Isra\u00ebl zijn gebombardeerd. Meer dan 100 ambulances zijn buiten gebruik gesteld. Isra\u00ebl heeft tientallen artsen gearresteerd, hun verblijfplaats is onbekend.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Het hoofd van het belangrijkste ziekenhuis, het Shifa ziekenuis in Gaza City, Muhammad Abu salmia, staat sinds 22 november onder Isra\u00eblische arrest. Veel andere hooggeplaatste artsen worden al bijna twee weken vastgehouden door het Isra\u00eblische leger, zonder aanklacht en niemand weet waar ze zijn.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Van de 35 ziekenhuizen in Gaza zijn er vanochtend 26 niet functioneel en negen slechts gedeeltelijk functioneel, maar ze werken op meer dan het dubbele van hun capaciteit met kritieke tekorten aan basisvoorraden en brandstof. Deze faciliteiten bieden ook onderdak aan duizenden ontheemden.
Het Palestijnse Rode Kruis, kondigde gisteren aan dat het gebruik van hun ambulances in Noord-Gaza is gestopt.
Door brandstofgebrek en sluiting van ziekenhuizen is het nu onmogelijk om gewonden in het noorden te evacueren. In plaats daarvan worden deze pati\u00ebnten aan hun lot overgelaten.
Vanaf vanmorgen zijn er meer dan 17.000 Palestijnse mensen gedood, waaronder meer dan 7.000 kinderen. Er zijn minstens 46.000 gewonden, waarvan er duizenden ernstig gewond zijn. Er is onvoldoende ziekenhuisruimte om zelfs maar een fractie van deze pati\u00ebnten te behandelen. Massaal overbevolkte onderkomens van de Verenigde Naties zijn een toevluchtsoord geworden voor de verspreiding van besmettelijke ziekten, waaronder een hepatitis-A-uitbraak, meerdere uitbraken van meningitis, lice, huidinfecties en meerdere uitbraken van diarree. Het mensenrechtenbureau van de Verenigde Naties heeft op 5 december verklaard dat het patroon van aanvallen gericht op civiele infrastructuur ernstige twijfels oproept over de naleving van het internationaal humanitair recht door Isra\u00ebl en verhoogt het risico op gruweldaden. Er zijn onmetelijk veel schendingen geweest van de speciale bescherming van burgers, kinderen en medisch personeel, en wijdverspreide schendingen van het internationaal humanitair recht.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les deux derniers mois ont \u00e9t\u00e9 le conflit le plus meurtrier de l’histoire des Nations unies, avec 133 membres de leur personnel tu\u00e9s. Sur les 35 h\u00f4pitaux que compte la bande de Gaza, 26 ne sont pas fonctionnels, neuf ne le sont que partiellement, mais ils fonctionnent \u00e0 plus du double de leur capacit\u00e9 en raison d’une grave p\u00e9nurie de fournitures de base et de carburant. Ces installations abritent \u00e9galement des milliers de personnes d\u00e9plac\u00e9es \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur de la bande de Gaza.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En raison de l’\u00e9puisement du carburant et de la fermeture des h\u00f4pitaux, il est d\u00e9sormais impossible d’\u00e9vacuer les bless\u00e9s dans le nord. Au lieu de cela, ces patients sont laiss\u00e9s \u00e0 l’abandon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le 5 d\u00e9cembre, le bureau des droits de l’homme des Nations unies a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que Le ciblage d’infrastructures civiles soul\u00e8ve de s\u00e9rieuses inqui\u00e9tudes quant au respect par Isra\u00ebl du droit humanitaire international et augmente le risque de crimes d’atrocit\u00e9. Il y a eu un nombre incommensurable de violations de la protection sp\u00e9ciale accord\u00e9e aux civils, aux enfants et au personnel m\u00e9dical, ainsi que des violations g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9es du droit international humanitaire.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of this morning 283 healthcare workers in Gaza have been killed. The last two months has been the deadliest conflict in United Nations history, with 133 of their staff members killed. There have been 212 attacks on Gaza health care facilities since October 7th. This includes 24 different hospitals that have been bombed by Israel. Over a 100 ambulances that have been put out of service. Israel has arrested dozens of doctors, their whereabouts remain unknown.<\/em>
The head of the main hospital, Shifa hospital in Gaza City Muhammad Abu salmia has been under Israeli arrest since November 22nd. Many other senior doctors have continued to be held by the Israeli military for almost two weeks, with no charges and no one knows their whereabouts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of 35 hospitals in Gaza as of this morning 26 are nonfunctional, nine remaining only partially functional, but they are operating at more than double their capacity with critical shortages of basic supplies and fuel. These facilities are also providing shelter to thousands of internally displaced people.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Palestine red crescent Society yesterday announced that operations of their ambulances in Northern Gaza has stopped<\/em>
Due to depletion of fuel, and Hospital closures it is now impossible to evacuate wounded people in the north. Instead those patients are left to die.<\/em>
As of this morning over 17,000 Palestinian people have been killed, including over 7,000 children. there are at least 46,000 people injured, thousands of whom are critically injured. There is insufficient Hospital space to treat even a fraction of these patients. Massively overcrowded United Nations shelters have become Havens to spread infectious diseases including a hepatitis-A outbreak, multiple menitis outbreaks, lice, skin infections and multiple diarreal illness outbreaks. The United Nations human rights office has declared on December 5th the pattern of attacks that Target civilian infrastructure raises serious concerns about Israel’s compliance with International humanitarian law and raises the risk of atrocity crimes. There have been immeasurable numbers of violations of special protection to civilians, children and medical personnel, and widespread violations of international humanitarian law.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
